Herzlich willkommen auf meiner Webseite!
Ich bin Professorin für Interkulturelle Kommunikation und Fachsprache Deutsch an der Hochschule Konstanz HTWG, seit 2011 Studiengangsleiterin Wirtschaftssprache Deutsch und Tourismusmanagement und seit 2018 Gründerin und Direktorin des China-Zentrums. 2014 bis 2019 war ich Dekanin der Fakultät Wirtschafts-, Kultur- und Rechtswissenschaften und gründete den Senatsausschuss Internationalität der HTWG. Von Haus aus Sinologin und Germanistin arbeite ich als Professorin und Trainerin für Konfliktmanagement, Krisenkommunikation, Interkulturelle Kommunikation, Deutsch als Fremdsprache und wissenschaftliches Schreiben.

Darüber hinaus biete ich maßgeschneiderte Seminar- und Coachingangebote an für Hochschuldozierende und Studierende, für Privatpersonen, die sich weiterentwickeln wollen, sowie für Führungskräfte von Firmen und Institutionen.
Das kalligrafische Zeichen oben rechts auf dieser Seite ist das chinesische Schriftzeichen Xin. Es bedeutet sowohl Herz als auch Geist. Meine Arbeit ist der Verbindung von Herz und Geist im Rahmen der Kommunikation gewidmet.

A warm welcome to my website!
I am a professor of Intercultural Communication and German Language at the Konstanz University of Applied Sciences (HTWG). Since 2011, I have been responsible for the study program Business German and tourism management. In 2018, I founded the China Center and became its first director. From 2014 to 2019 I was also the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Cultural and Legal Studies and founded the Commission of Internationality at HTWG. My work as a professor and trainer includes the following areas: conflict management, crisis communication, intercultural communication, German as a foreign language and scientific writing.
On this page you will find information about my career and qualifications as well as current courses at the Konstanz University of Applied Sciences (HTWG). In addition, I offer tailor-made seminars and coaching for university students, individuals who want to develop further as well as for employees and executives of companies and institutions.
The calligraphic sign at the top right corner of this page is the Chinese character Xin. It means both heart and mind. My work is dedicated to the connection of heart and mind in the context of communication.
